5.  Do you have camper forms that are required to be completed?

All AerobiTots day campers are required to submit a Personal Health and Information Form prior to the start of their program.  The form is kept on file in the mail office once completed and camp staff simply ask that parents and guardians assist in the maintenance of the form at the start of each new program if family information or camper information is required to be updated.  The Personal Health & Information form, or may be faxed or emailed to families upon request.  The form is also available online and may be emailed to camp staff.  Simply check out our registration page to review.

6.  How do I register?

There are three convenient options to choose from when registering for camp programs:  Registering in Person, Registering by phone, or Registering Online.

7.  Can I withdraw, transfer, or get a refund for registration in camp?

Refunds are not offered after the program starts unless accompanied by a medical certificate.  Refunds will be pro-rated and will be subject to the administration levy.  No fees will be charged if you transfer your child to a different program (space permitting).

8.  What is the drop-off and pick-up procedure for day camp?

Upon drop-off in the mornings, staff requires parents/guardians to check in with attendance in gymnasium area for summer camp. (other camps during year will be notified prior to camp)  Staff will take attendance and assign the children to the appropriate staff leader and location to start their day.  At this time, any special information that should be shared with staff may be communicated. Those who are late to signing in children will be asked to sign-in at front desk of Lighthouse main building.

At normal pick-up time, parents/guardians will be required to sign-out their children in person with an attending staff member.  This time also provides staff with the opportunity to discuss the child’s day with parents/guardians.

If an adult other than parents/guardians is to pick up your child, please ensure that the adult’s information has been included on your Health and Information Forms, or that you communicate the information to staff at drop-off time.  If the adult’s information is not in our files, we will not be able to release the child.  Prior written or verbal permission is required.

9.  Do you administer medications?

Staff cannot administer prescribed medications unless an Authorization of Administration form has been completed by the parent/guardian.  Forms may be completed upon arrival at your child’s program to allow further discussion with staff.

When medication is provided to staff, it must be in its original container and bear a current prescription label which will be cross-referenced with the Authorization of Administration form.  When a unit of measurement is required for medication, please supply a dosage implement with the medication (example, teaspoon).  The implement must be labeled with the child’s name.

Staff will not administer over-the-counter medications unless prescribed by a physician. For self-administered medications, such as asthma inhalers or epi-pens, children are required to bring an extra to have at camp daily to eliminate any chance of forgetting this life-saving medication at home.  During the program, the children carry their backpacks with them or the staff leader may carry their meds for them.

Please do not hesitate to contact AerobiKidz at 843-KIDZ to discuss your child’s needs.

10.  Do you use photos taken at camp for program promotion?

In the course of all program activities, photos may be taken and audio-visual recordings may be made.  AerobiKidz Day Camp reserves the right to use all photographs and videos of all our programs, participants, special events, and facilities for promotional purposes.  Special circumstances do however surface with our child participants and we ask that parents/guardians make it quite clear on the Personal Health and Information Form if they do not provide permission to allow their children to be a part of our promotional materials.

11. Do you have a policy for participant risk?

The participant (or parent/guardian if the participant is under the age of 18) voluntarily assumes any risk of injury or damage in connection with the use of services of facilities, and releases, discharges and agrees to indemnify and save harmless AerobiKidz Day Camp and Lighthouse Sports & Fitness and it’s employees, agents and volunteers from any liability, claim, demand or costs whatsoever incurred arising out of the participation of the participant in the program or facility.

12.  Do you accept credit cards?

AerobiKidz Day Camp accepts all credit credits through Pay Pal.  We also accept checks, money orders and cash.  Payment must be in full prior to the beginning of any session unless prior arrangements have been made with the financial office.

If you are picking up your child before the normal pick-uptime, please report to the reception desk to obtain a sign-out slip to exchange for your child.

14.  Can my child participate if he/she has special needs, allergies, or medical conditions?
